We have such an incredible support system at Claire’s school. They understand how precious time, and the large amount of fundraising ahead of us so they had this great idea how they could bring the entire school together and help us get to that goal.
Each student raised money by pledges and in turn they experienced a party like no other. The teachers were able to get a DJ, a photobooth, they organized a tuck shop and so many awesome prizes for the classes who raised the most money.
When we walked into the decorated gym, with all the parents, tears filled our eyes. Claire was so inspired by her dancing classmates she had to get up and join them. She has not been on her feet much since the surgery and feeling so sick, so this warmed our heart.
After getting off a flight from Orlando the night before and thinking about the 30+ appointments we had that month alone for both kids, it was just what we needed to keep us going.
Thank you just does not seem enough; we could never repay the kindness we have received.
