Claire was not tolerating anything going through her new g tube and was in a lot of pain. We just knew something was going on because Claire doesn’t normally complain of pain, so I walked over to her pediatricians office, so that she could stay reclined in the stroller and not have the pressure of sitting in the car seat.
He heard a crackle in her lungs and sent us to the ER ASAP. Thankfully, Nana and Papa quickly drop everything to come get Josef so that Mark and I could head back to the hospital.
Early pneumonia most likely caught while she was recovering from surgery. A huge mistake on their part for discharging her so early. They were ready for our arrival and had us in and out right away, because we caught it early enough,we were able to bring her home with antibiotics.
