Sometimes memories take your breath away……
Our first Christmas after diagnoses is not something we are looking forward to. Even last year was hard, so many unanswered questions and uncontrolled seizures.
We should be talking about Santa and counting down the days, but sadly Claire isn’t there cognitively. It will be just another day, just extra special being surrounded by her favorite people and some presents.
I must be ok with that, they will be happy and loved, and that’s all they need.
