Headed to Ottawa for two days, I was in a full room discussing rare disease and how we can bring life-saving drugs to Canada, after we focus on diagnosing faster and more efficiently. I was able to connect to other families in my situation, focusing on brining clinical trials to Canada and meet some Institutes that could potentially help us with grants.
Thankfully, Mark held down the fort at home, so that I could attend. Seeing pictures of Claire enjoying school while I was away made it a little easier.
