Thankful for my amazing In-laws! Claire was sick with a pretty bad virus and after two days in the hospital with her, it finally got me. Unfortunately, I was hit so hard I couldn’t get out of bed this morning to take the kids to the hospital with Mark for their treatment.
Just a quick phone call and both of Marks parents were ready and heading to the hospital. Since we have started both kids on the same day, one of them always comes to give us a hand and we couldn’t be more thankful for having that extra support.
The stress of the actual infusion process as well as being stuck in the hospital room all day is a lot, having someone there to cuddle with one kid so the other can have a break is very much needed.
Mark let me know that the kids were calmer during the procedure and Claire had a nice long nap. Makes me not dread the next one so much.
