Infusion #2 was a success! Can’t say enough about the nurse and doctors at the Hospital for Sick Kids, they make sure they are so prepared and ready for anything.
She was able to sleep while they accessed her port and that made it so much easier this time.
Even Mark and I got in a tiny nap.
She is feeling a little tired today, but otherwise no other side effects.
Still can’t seem to get these drop seizures under control, she can have up to 40 a day, but we are hopeful a new med change will do the trick and a pretty purple helmet in the meantime will be on her head to keep her safe.
Only two more on her own, then her brother will be joining us, hope we are ready for that.
