Christmas was mentally exhausting. I’m sure most moms can agree with that.
Claire wasn’t totally present and I’m not sure how much of what she knew was going on. She hasn’t completely bounced back from that cold and it was so heartbreaking to watch.
They got so many gifts from family, that she will be able to use at PT and to encourage her motor skills, I just hope that she gets her strength back so that she can use them.
This mom waited to cry until she got home, but I did manage to make it through the day with a smile.
Josef had a blast and seeing his face light up over everything made us so happy. I just hope with everything I have that he will continue to enjoy life with that same curiosity and excitement. That battens won’t rob him of that, like it’s done Claire.
