We are really struggling with this cold.
Claire is on three types of seizure meds, when she doesn’t eat, they make her extremely sedated and kill her already small appetite.
When we stress about our kids getting sick, this is why.
She missed her last horse therapy session for the year, she missed an entire week of school, and she still doesn’t have enough strength to sit up.
She is also going to miss her first classmate birthday party, her great grandmas birthday party…..
Her fever is gone, so now the hard part, trying to get her strength back. This roller coaster is exhausting for us as parents, and we are tired and sad for her
We decided to take her to the hospital, just couldn’t take the chance of something else going on that was making this cold linger for so long.They sent us home, everything came back clear and there is nothing you can do for a cold. She was more alert last night even smiled when her Nana came to visit.
During all this running around to the ER and Urgent Care, Josef got to spend some time with his Nana and Papa yesterday, he decided there needed to be new characters in the Nativity barn this year, I agree!
Thank you Nana & Papa, what would we do without you guys??
